Wedding Editorial Inspired by the Italian Dolce Vita in the Heart of French Loire Valley

The editorial, which was held at the Hôtel-Noble estate in Vernou, in french Loire Valley, was inspired by the Italian art of living, the Dolce Vita. The colour palette chosen was lemon yellow accompanied by the green of the olive tree, creating a Mediterranean atmosphere of good humour, happiness of the moment and the sweetness of life, reminiscent of the hot Italian summers, with laughter on the café terraces, clinking glasses of spritz, and moments of sharing with friends around a table garnished with delicate dishes and colourful scents.

The team assembled for this editorial was composed exclusively of local artisans. The beautiful bride wore a sober Mikado gown with a plunging neckline in front and back, embellished with a liberty Wiltshire macaron bow in the back, adding a touch of pizzazz. Her waist was marked by a wide cut-out, and the skirt was slit on one side, adding a touch of elegance to her look.

The intimate ceremony took place at the foot of an arch carved from the typical Touraine tufa stone. The natural setting of the scene was composed of birch trees, olive branches and lemons placed in a basket or on the posts of the guests’ wooden chairs. Two Medici vases marked the entrance to the main ceremony aisle, adding a touch of sophistication to the whole. This same inspiration was carried through to the reception, reusing the citrus and flowers from the ceremony, creating a visual harmony between the different elements of the event.
